I’ve never seen a white lettered Simplex tire.  The reproduction tires from Coker or Wayne are all black wall. Post a picture of the white lettering.  Is it possible someone painted the letters?

I spoke with the top couple of Simplex guys in the country, not one of them ever saw a white lettered tire.  They unanimously thought they were painted on with a tire paint marker.  If anyone knows anything different, I would like to hear from you.

By the looks of the last picture , it seems fairly obvious that the 'white' is on top of factory lettering and not through and through white letters .
I suppose the white could have been applied at the factory , but , I've never seen another example .
