Went to the meet, but not much simplex stuff. I did find 1 bike with a roached frame, but the wheels that look decent and the fenders where fair. No gas tank, and the guy wanted $700! I thought it was worth about $300, but the guy didn't want to move off his price at all.
I did find a simplex compact sportsman tank, that if the price had been right, I would have bought to bring to Portland, but the guy wanted $250! The tank wasn't even that nice; see picture below.
The one simplex I saw was for sale, and I think this belongs to a guy named Rich that goes to Portland. He wanted $3850. I think he bought this at Portland last year. Tom, is that the bike we were looking at in front of Wayne's motorhome? Pictures below.
