Has rocker clutch left side and a very unique steering head, has an Art-Deco look.

Welcome Tom . :)
Maybe a 1945H . Possibly a 1948J .
What are you going to do with it ?

Looks like a good start of a bike. I can't remember which years had the rear mounted kick stand, but it's in that range.

Not sure at this point what I will do with it. Had to make a repair to the tank mount bar, bend it back down and weld in place. I'm making some rear fender braces as the originals are gone. Are rear fender braces hard to find and or high dollar items ? A few new pics also.

Ha . I recall the reo type mowers . They would cut grass, but would leave the weeds . LOL .
You're probably better off to fab your own braces than trying to find a serviceable set .te

What years had this type of setup for the drive train ?

Are the bolt size/threads an odd size on the tank support brace, appears to be 3/16 but the thread must fine or ?. Are the tank support bars another part next to impossible to find ?

A lot of fine threads on a Simplex. The axles are BCS, which are very hard to find.
The tank support is available reproduction.
