New guy from Oregon
« on: January 11, 2021, 06:09:29 PM »
Hey all, I recently picked up a pair of Simplex Servicycles and am looking forward to learning more.
I’ve wanted one since I was a kid (along with every other cool old bike out there)
I have acquired some of the other dream stuff, now it’s time to mess with these!

Thanks guys- here are some quick pictures I took.
I have a 1943 Mercury stationary engine I may try to install in the gray bike.
The black one has no frame numbers but the engine is a Model J.
Gray one has no frame numbers.
I think a member here was advising the guy I bought them from, and possibly trying to buy these?

The wide vertical support under the seat and flywheel puller there has been said to be unique to the model '48'.
