Hey guys put a magnet to the gear. It is very weakly magnetic i do mean weakly so really dont konw on that one??

also I hada couple case numbers was hoping you guys could tell me a ball park year.N H10511   and a  M15082b thanks for all the help so far guys. Jason

Just a quick thank you !!! I got the motor apart last night, even tried those pics but the camera wasnt willing to play. After a trip in the beads it really apears for all the world the gear is bronze. Also the sportsman case has a stress crack in the web and a broken mount both i belive can be repaired but I also have a good case that I could swap what do you guys think about this? I will repair the origial wither way unless it does not work out. thanks guys the wrench idea worked great wish i knew of it sooner Jason

i also thought that bronze would be way  to soft. this gear si definatly not steel and is showing alot of wear. I will try and get some help with a camera i owe you guys some pics of the whole mess thanks again for the help jason

hey guys had a minute to work on the simplex last night. I am having trouble getting  kicker gear and drive pulley free from the crank shaft. It is the sportsman with the inner gear assembly is the gear and pulley left hand thread ? or are they keyed to the shaft any advice would be great thanks jason

great to know that the decal is available. Next question about how many were built? I have read several numbers from only a few to a full production run in 60. I belive that this bike is original paint although it is rough, the decal is nearly faded away. Its all black with chrome fenders and the white decal. thanks again guys Jason

I will do my best to get you some pics i am not all that great with computers so gotta get som help with that. It has an internal starter gear, and the standard dual plug head/cylinder. As a warning though it is in as found condition. thanks for your help so far guys. this one was all black. most of the sportsmans that I see are two tone is that also rather normal?

As I mentioned this is a sportsman but has crash bars as well as chrome flat wide fenders are the crash bars correct or has some swapping been done thanks Jason

Hey guys got you some numbers to play with. the frame shows 18092 and the motor shows m25075b this bike hase wide flat crome fenders  and crash bars, As I mentioned it has all the sportsman features also the decal. but the crash bars throw me off. Any help would be great thanks guys   Jason

Hi guys I am Jason I recently purchased what we belive is a 60 model sportsman. Has all the normal sportsman parts but hase crash bars and wide crome fenders. Been around these little bikes all my life dad has an early manual clutch and later automatic. We belive som parts swaping may have been done over the years so solid years get a little fuzzy. We live in McCune Kansas about 450 people right in the corner ov southeast kansas. Wanted to say hello and start looking for some advice thaks guys
