Title: Portland 2013 Pictures

I did not take many pictures this year; not sure why.  I was just so busy riding and talking to so many people, I forgot to bring the camera most of the time.  I know some of the guys took a bunch of pictures, so lets see them!!

This Sportsman was restored by Bill E, and was sold to one of the grand kids of Paul Treen, the founder of Simplex.  This bike is almost too pretty to ride.

This 1948 Deluxe is also awesome. It was restored by Wayne several years ago, and I was told gets ridden regularly.

Same here . I wanted to meet all of you folks ( still do ) .

Strange that it turns out I could go this weekend or next , but not last . I guess it just wasn't meant to be .
Hopefully , all goes well so I can be there next Summer .

Rick , What does the sign say that you have taped to the box of your tribute truck ?

It was a "For Sale" sign for the truck and the T-shirts.  I sold some shirts and traded the truck to DW1973 for the 1960 Simplex Sportsman that was advertised on here. Dave has young kids and is building a seat for the box to take them for rides. I am going through the sportsman, trying to figure out what I need to give it the attention it deserves.   I will start a thread on that bike soon.
