Magneto question??

Hello, I got the carb parts I needed but now it appears I have no spark?? Could this be from just sitting so long? Are there replacements available?? Thanks...

Have you had the flywheel off and cleaned all connections , including the points ?

Post a pic of what you have , particularly the flywheel .
You'll likely need a puller .

It has the three screw holes for like a steering wheel puller, does the gear need to come off or will it come off with the puller?

DO NOT pry on the flywheel!  Like PD says, post a picture so we can see which magneto you have,  as there are several types.

Ok, got the flywheel off, cleaned the points and all the contact areas on the flywheel and magnetos...still no spark!!! Everything inside this looks to be in great condition, super clean etc.? Could it be the capacitor maybe?? Having problems with pics, don’t know how to resize them small enough to load?? If anyone wants to see them I can text or email them??

Assuming the flywheel is good, there is only a couple of things it can be.  Coil, points, and condenser.  Also, check the wiring to the switch.  The switch works by grounding out the ignition.  If the wire is worn through, it could be grounding out unintentionally.

Put a screwdriver or something steel to the magnets of the flywheel to make sure that is good.

Are the points open in the pic you posted ?
They should be closed , completely . And , they should be gaped at .020" when the point heal is lined up with the line on the cam ( almost opposite of where it is in that^ pic ) .
