Welcome Mike!  Do you restore any bikes?  If so, feel free to post some pictures, even if they aren’t Simplex.  We don’t discriminate against other makes around here.

Welcome Mike and Howdy from Texas. I'm shocked that there's someone out there that's listing parts at a fair price. Yes do like Rick said and post some pics of the bikes you have. Shoot we would like a pic of the stash pile of simplex parts you have.  :o

I hope you didn't pay a ton of money for the parts. :-) Even though that is a hall. The community isn't that big and most of us are in it because we love the bikes. Not a boat load of money to be made because the market isn't HUGE.
But I'm sure that if you offer them up at a reasonable price the guys that are looking for parts will bite.
No matter where you go, there you are

Dave,  he has sold some of these parts in the last couple of days on eBay, and believe me, he is making a pile of cash!  I can't believe what some of this has sold for!  I bet he will get 5 times his money back on what he paid, and I have have no idea what he gave for the collection of parts!  lol

Maybe those other clowns on eBay will see how Mike's stuff sells and will auction their stuff instead of putting unreasonable prices on it and have their shit listed for over a year with no bites!

I saw the parts on ebay.
Not super. I didn't search the closed simplex stuff. Why are people paying so much for parts?
i can't believe that I'm spending more on parts that the bike is worth after you put it together.

That's what I said!  I have no idea why someone would pay $200 for used flywheel cover when you could buy a brand new reproduction, which no one could tell from original, for $110.
