I know you probably will but can you save us a spot on the hill?

Thanks!

Hey,

I know I've been ghosting this past year but I was wondering who is going to Portland?
We will be there on Monday...
Hope to see you all there.

Yes, we have been watching weather also. The heat may also bring some nasty storms. I hope not!

All,

I almost forgot. I will be canceling my restorations at the Holiday Inn. I have Monday thru Saturday night. Check out Sunday.

I will give it a day for anyone to get back to me before I cancel.

:-)

Hey,

Thanks, I have heard a lot of stories like that. That's why I didn't put it off any longer. I'll do my best with the web site. I will get in touch after you come back from Portland. By then I should be getting around and not working on rehab as much. Talk to you then and say Hey! to everyone at Portland for us. We are really going to miss being there.

Have fun! Don't spend to much money! :)

Hi Guys,

I know that I've been off the grid for awhile. Been super busy at work and dealing with some health issues. We are not going to make it this year. :-( I am going to have a hip replacement on July 12th. We are sort of bummed that my surgery worked out this way. I've been fighting this for a couple of years now.
We will be back next year with a refurbished body & bikes. ;-) Please post pics and I'd also like to know about where and when next's years event will be held.

Enjoy and I hope you get Great weather!!!!

Rick,
Looks like I will have some free time on my hands. Maybe I can get the website updated.

I saw the parts on ebay.
Not super. I didn't search the closed simplex stuff. Why are people paying so much for parts?
i can't believe that I'm spending more on parts that the bike is worth after you put it together.

I hope you didn't pay a ton of money for the parts. :-) Even though that is a hall. The community isn't that big and most of us are in it because we love the bikes. Not a boat load of money to be made because the market isn't HUGE.
But I'm sure that if you offer them up at a reasonable price the guys that are looking for parts will bite.

Not sure which bikes I'm bring yet. Still putting 47 II back together. If I take a couple of days off around the 4th I might it back together.  :)

Kartjocky,

Looks like the my original bike's motor number is newer then the new bike's motor number by 5,764 motors.
Hummm... Not what I would have expected to find out but who knows. The H motor bikes seem to be mongrels.  :)

Hi All,

Kartjocky is interested in the number of my first bike's motor number. This is a pic from when I was doing my research on the bike. I hadn't touched it yet. It was still as it had been for the last 50 years or so that our family had owned it. He has been doing some research on the H motor bikes...
Here is the pic of it.
