Worksman wheels

Will the drum brake front wheel work on the rear if I use the belt drive. I don't need the freewheel threads or the extra expense. Also it looks like the front wheel is more readily available. I am concerned about the width and off-set. Anyone done this? Thanks so much.

I would think this would work.  You will need to fabricate a new brake rod, but I don't see any big issues that would need to be overcome.

Check out my thread on upgrading the worksman drum axle to 12mm. It is pretty easy and parts are readily available.

Sorry it was in my main thread here http://www.simplexservi-cycle.com/index.php?topic=669.0

Half way down on the first page.

I purchased the axle, bearings, and shims at www.treatland.tv They are a moped parts store. Many older mopeds use the same style of brake drum as the worksman.
