H model, puchased new by my father in 1947. Restored in 2010 as a surprise for his 80th birthday.

Looks Nice!  2 questions.  Why 2 fuel filters and why did you cut the tank channel into 2 small pieces instead of using the whole part?

The second fuel filter has been removed since the photo was taken. I've been told my grandfather may have added it back in the 50's. He was a Ford mechanic for decades and the best mechanic I've every known.
Regarding the 2 pieces of channel under the tank - that is the way it was prior to restoration.

actually just got it to start a couple of weeks ago.  I hope to ride it in a parade or two.  An occasional lap around the block is about the extents of riding.

BTW - Wayne Mahaffey sending me a new lighting coil tomorrow.  He is such a tremendous resource for just about all things Servicycle.
