Title: Front fender needed
Post by: socalsimplex on October 29, 2014, 04:18:15 PM: Anyone have a front fender that they can part with? I called Wayne and placed a large order today. However, he said he only had fiberglass fenders available.

Post by: Sonrisers on October 29, 2014, 08:04:44 PM: I looked at the fiberglass fenders while at Portland this summer and they looked to me like they would work in a pinch. They have a flare on the end, but it looks to me like it could be cut off pretty easily to look just like an original. How does he have them priced? I don't know if I would want to go to all the trouble if I had to pay premium price.

Post by: socalsimplex on October 29, 2014, 10:29:38 PM: I have a front fender, well... part of one. The previous owner lopped about 2 1/2" off the front. I might just round off what I have for now until I come across one. I guess I'm lucky to have something to work with.
