That strange head nut is what likely kept the price down . ;)

There aren't many to compare , so I guess it's like anything else : worth whatever one is willing to pay .

I'd like to have seen what made those marks on the handlebar . Maybe some sort of windshield ???

You're probably right Vince .

"Current bid:US $4,300.00
Reserve not met"

And , the auction page simply states that "Bidding has ended on this item."

So , unless the seller waived the reserve , maybe after the fact ? , he still has it .

EDIT: The bike is now up for sale with a Buy It Now of $7500! The seller bought it for $900 back in 2011. How much is enough? LOL

I spoke with the owner the day he listed it and thought it would go for around $5,000. It appears to be a very nice original survivor but $7,500 is to much in my opinion. Vince
