Title: Early manual
Post by: kartjockey on September 03, 2018, 02:14:14 PM
Very early manual.  Maybe 1940.  What does everyone think?  It came with two supplement pages that I will post soon after scanning.

Looking at the bike diagram/pic :

Frame pin stripping , side reflectors and even a dynamo for lighting .
Pretty neat .

I didn't know they offered pin stripping or reflectors . I'd read or seen something about the dynamo , but ???

Thanks for posting this , Tom . ;)

Pete . :)

This is what I’m working with. After a lot of research today the early wico looks to be Cushman the Eisemann is in amazing condition. I just need to do two that are correct for what I think is 45 in my profile picture and my 48. I have parts everywhere lol

Rick and Bob, I have been on this page for a couple years now. Today is my first posts or even reaching out to anyone on here. I don’t know if I’m putting all the pic and posts in the right spot. Let me know if I do, because I’m going to need your guys help if I ever can get my two bikes together. With original parts and period correct. I have a lot of stuff but I’m missing a lot of stuff!

I think this would be the right one for both of your bikes.

Do you know the part number for the flywheel that I will need for the two wico simplex mags. The last one I came across went for stupid money on eBay

They are marked FW-1278. They have 2 sets of magnets in them, one set runs the ignition, the other the lighting coil.

How much was stupid money?

Went for over $1,200 with the mag in rough shape

That’s insane. You don’t happen to have a link to the auction, I’d like to see what it included.

I just look back at my bid history and it doesn’t show it. It was in October or November of last year.
Do you know of anyone that may have the flywheel I’m looking for?

Wayne Mahaffey probably has some available. Check the suppliers section for a phone number.
