Just wanted to say Hi and what a cool site. I'm new to the site but not new to the Simplex. A friend of mine got started on these years ago and changed his mind. Knowing how cool these bikes were I just had to buy his whole collection. One original I believe 53 Automatic complete with original parts. Also assorted frames and parts. I'm close to Tulsa, OK. Anyone else live in this area. Bob

Welcome Bob.  One of the "Simplex oldtimers" is also a Bob from Oklahoma (unless this is you Bob Kerr?).  I don't have my roster with me & can't remember what town he's from.  He is a wealth of information.

We've got a great bunch of guys here & lots of info in the different sections.

The big motorbike get together is in Portland Indiana next month.  Bob usually comes.  You should see if you could catch up with him & share a ride out here.

Met Bob when i sold and delivered my 52 to his friend Mike in Tulsa Ok...I'll vouch for them! nice guys!! welcome!!
