I got here this morning.  They had some more rain today early, but the sun came out and is drying the place.  Come look for us up on the Simplex Hill!

Saturday looks like it will be hot, but no rain!  Looking forward to a great day. Sunday will be the group photo, up on Simplex Hill at 3pm, get your bikes there!

All the forecasts for heavy rains today, and nothing!  Unfortunately, almost everyone is packed up and gone.  This years weather made this one of the smallest meets ever! 

I had a good time catching up with Tom, Reese, James, Ernie, Bob, Wayne, Mike, and many others.


Pete, aka PD, was even there and he does exist!    Good to meet you, hope to see you again next year.

I will head back to the fairgrounds tomorrow morning before heading home, as I am curious how many people will be left.

It was great meeting all of you , face to face .
So far , it looks like we'll be back here , hosting the nature park , again next Summer . I'm already planning the trip to Portland . Maybe next year will be a little less soggy . Although , the storm on Saturday night did rock me to sleep . :D
And , my bike will be running when you guys next see it . That part was disappointing to me .

Anyway , it all added up to a good time .

p.s. : I made it back to Streator in about 5 1/2 hours .

Looks like Reese, Janette, me and Sonya are the only ones left.  Reese and I are the only two stingy enough to not blow off tonight's banquet.  We missed Rick by a few minutes this morning.  PD, you were just pulling out of the park when we were pulling in...sorry we missed you.
