Hello from long lost lamb Mike Sal

Hello to all my old Friends of Simplex.  I hope everyone is doing well.  As you can probably guess, I've taken a break from the motorbikes for a while.  I will retire in March, so hope to pick up the ball again.  Can you tell me what the dates are for the Portland meet?

I might be wrong , but July 24th through the 29th pops into mind for Portland  .

Now that I have been going there for many years, I have given up on going by the official dates.  I now try to go from Tuesday to Saturday, as by Saturday night the fairground really starts to empty out. There are very few people left by Sunday.

Btw, welcome back Mike!  Do you still have your Kubel replica?

Hey guys, Don't know if you can trust the officials. But, on the back of the VMBC latest magazine it has the dates of Portland as July 29th thru Aug 1st. I figure Tue thru Sat will be good as usual. Bob

Yea if I get to make it this year it will not be before Thursday cause the last time they ask for more cash to stay. So my early arrivals  are no more, no matter how good the deals are...  8)
