Title: I think it's a 1945
Post by: butch27 on February 04, 2013, 04:07:11 PM: My Simplex has the seat spring mount in FRONT of the frame cross bar. Most that I'v seen has it behind closer to the rear fender. Any ideas of year? Thanks

Post by: Mike Sal on February 04, 2013, 05:47:15 PM: I assume your talking about where the spring attaches to the frame. The 48's also have the spring further forward that the later models. Does your front seat mount have a "hinge", or is it all one piece that goes all the way to the steering head?
