The frame number will be under the neck, if it has one. Frame numbers didn't start until around 1951 or so.  Welcome aboard!

Hey there Flatty!  I'm Tom from Michigan. Are you a flathead buff?  Always loved the flathead.  Tell us....what did you have to trade for your Simplex?

Flathead I sent you a PM regarding info for the registry.  Welcome.  Kartjockey is going to feel embarrased if you say you don't know anything about early ford v8's :)

Right now is probably the best time in post-Simplex history that there may be original motors available for restorations.  Hopefully Wayne bought several of the motors that Wollard had horded up & they will be available to those who need them.

Well hello everyone.
I'm an Okie from Okmulgee, about 40 mile south of Tulsa. I'm a line supervisor in the plant i work at. I've been there 36 yrs.
Yes I do know a little about flathead V8's and I mean a little. I built a Model A coupe with a flathead V8 and like a dumb..I sold it.
I do have a flathead V8 sittin' in the garage right now, next to a 32 4 banger. I've got 3 projects....err 4 projects now. the Simplex, a 37 Cord replica, a 35 Auburn replica and another  Model A coupe. Yep I'm project poor. I hope to learn something here on the Simplex as I think they are pretty cool lookin. Thanks guys
