There's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.

From about May through September it's so hot where I am (Texas) that spending time outdoors, in the garage, or on a motorbike is just miserable.

October - March is what I look forward to as they are about the only pleasant months to spend in the garage without sweating to death in 90-100+ degree weather.  In the winter we only have a handful of days that get below freezing and rarely have any snow or ice, but when we do, it's epic. Remember Super Bowl 2011? Everything except that football game basically stopped for about 6 days straight.

A Kaiser Frazer friend of mine who lived in Austin, Tx would always sign off in the evening by posting "signing off from the surface of the sun"......

The Texas guys are talking about cool weather in the summer time.  Live in South Louisiana
and you will experience hot humid Africa hot weather from May to October.

With the Texas weather so nice now, are any of you working on your projects?

I need to and thinking about sending some cylinders off to Wayne and get them honed and ringed and try to get mine running better. But there's a bailer that I need to fix before next spring.

Texas is good to live in because we have hotter than hell in July and August, nice fall days in Sept. Oct and 1/2 half of Nov. Then some cool days in 1/2 of Nov. Then hit and miss freeze and warm days in Dec., Jan. and Feb. Very nice days in parts of Feb March. Very Nice days in rain and wind of April and May. June is the start of the Hot days.
You can ride a cycle parts of 12 months a year.
Lived here 84 years and would never move anywhere else.

My wife and I take the best of both : North in the late Spring and South in mid Fall . But then , not everyone has wheels and a motor under their home . ;)
I do miss having a shop to 'work' in . I'll have to see about changing that .

Pete . :)

In my part of Mizzery Uh you might know it better as Missouri, we only have 2 nice days a year: one is called Spring and the other is called Fall.
