Hello all!  I am an owner of a 1956 Simplex.  It is cobbled together from a couple of bikes which were provided by my father-in-law.  I love the bike and don't plan on restoring it any more than it is currently.

I look forward to learning and sharing with you all!

Welcome to the group.  I'm also new here & don't yet have a bike (I had one when I was a kid).  Where are you located?  I'm in southern IL.  some of the guys on this site have done fantastic restorations on these bikes.

I am in the Dayton, Ohio area.  These guys sure do a great job.  Here is a picture of my son's 3 wheeler when he gets old enough.  It is absolutely gorgeous!

Welcome aboard.  Did you buy that truck from Jim L?  I saw it at Portland this summer, along with his other truck and Bob Legron's.

No, Jim L is my father-in-law.  So by default I am a Simplex junkie and have access to all the information a man could need!  Look forward to learning and helping the best I can.

PS - I am going to attempt to get Jim L an account on here weekend so he can have fun browsing and talking with you all.

Having a relative that ejoys the same hobby as you.....this is disgusting.....my in-laws (god bless their souls) along with my pop always thought I was a little silly to want to play with antique cars & motorbikes.
