CONTROL CABLES /THROTTLE & CHOKE
« on: June 30, 2013, 03:22:02 PM »
hello, does anyone have a 1948 or close that year, for a throttle cable picture?  I have the bracket that comes off the engine, the two cables go through the bracket.
the cables are higher the my tilotson carburetor. ( this is the issue) does the choke go on top position?  how is this drop down to carburetor done?  pictures would be great. thanks  Dan

I don't know about the 1948, but the later models just have 2 90 degree bends to lower the cable down to the choke shaft.

Yes, looks like that, except a much bigger drop, about 1 inch.
