Title: Simplex in VMBC Magazines
Post by: Mike Sal on April 02, 2012, 02:10:39 PM
I received permission from the Vintage Motor Bike Club president to copy articles from their magazine to post here.  I have a stack of magazines from 2004 thru now & will be scanning the things which feature Simplex's.  The first attempt here is from the Autum 2008 magazine which features some bikes & a truck owned by Bill Erickson, who lives near Chicago (Bill's Simplex site is one of the first to pop up when you do a search for Simplex on the internet).  If the file is the wrong size, I'll ask Rick to help fix it.

Here's a story from 2007 about Wayne helping a guy build a truck (sound familiar Rick?).

What year was that in? Looking at the picture, it looks like worksman drum brake wheels and a Briggs motor.

Here it is turned right side up!

Hmmm. when I opened it right after posting, it looked ok....kornputers are so kornfusing....

This article was in the winter '07 magazine.  Dunno when it actually took place.
