It says the tow cycle is the product of over twenty years of engineering. So does this mean these are 1955 models?  Does the tank decal match up to a 1955?

That is a 1952 only tank decal.  It seems that simplex started counting years when Treen had his first dream of building a servi-cycle!

Simplex typically counted their years of experience from 1934.
