I read a post by Larry on another topic stating that the older style bolt on pullys were a smaller diameter , would this effect belt size ? All Wayne sells are the older style as replacements for the clip ons.

Ben, I have got burned on trading labor literally every time the last time by a long time friend. We agreed I would build a 30x40 garage complete with infloor heat and in return he would do the body and paint on my 59 Apache needless to say he has enjoyed his heated garage the last 6yrs and my truck looks the same . Never again you pay me , I pay you. I am going to try to make Simplex hill in July I will bring my bike although probley incomplete . Running out of time, and still have to do the wheels.

Anyone on here from Oklahoma , I heard from an antique car guy that in the past he has acquired Oklahoma titles and then transferred them to avoid the dreaded Illinois dmv

Engine & Transmission / Re: Help I broke my Flywheel:(
« on: May 26, 2012, 02:04:27 PM »
Wayne, told me at first he would swap it out ,but it turns out he has no phelon flywheel ,however he did get the old one fixed had to make a new hub for the center and then straighten the face. He ran the motor all is well. Any of you guys that have phelon flywheels be careful they are hard to find and easy to break.

At long last, a running engine can't hardly wait to see it back in the frame, maybe then the forks get my attention

Well I'm about back on track. I was never able to fix that darn flywheel, so I boxed it up along with rest of the motor and sent it off to Wayne, during transit the box apparently came loose and the flywheel sloped out and was lost . Wayne called the local ups place on his end in Alabama and they found it !! Good thing Wayne has no phelon flywheels , only wicos. He ended up having to make a new center hub and also had to straighten the face. That flywheel just would not stop with the trouble. Anyway Wayne called he test fired motor yesterday after a care kit its running good and on the brown truck back to ill.
