I have a 49 t0 51, trying to disassemble the engine, and cannot for the life of me, get the pulley off the crank, tried heat, pullers, just can't get it to move. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you >:(

yep, I found out a little to late as i cut it off, now I will hope Wayne has one, or I will Attempt to make one. thankfully I didn't hurt the threads or crank.

Wayne has them. Mine was butchered also by someone who did not know it was left hand threaded.

I made a cool tool out of a piece of 1 3/4 by 1/8 inch flat bar. Ground a recess in the bar for the crank and tapped two bolts about 3/4 inch into it to grab the two holes in the pulley. Works like a charm and took ten mins to make. Shoulda spent some effort into a f/w puller, eh rick! Ha ha. (See Help I broke my flywheel).

Little eddie, the lessen here is to ask for for help BEFORE taking the BFH or hot wrench to something.
I did something similar with a weed wacker I inherited from Sonya's dad. It was just like the one I had.....except the threads on the knob that holds the string head on were left handed....which I found out after I broke the stem trying to get it apart.....
