Your bike should have 2" wheels front and rear. The brake you mention is correct. The other one is a front brake, the guy, bldfla941, just doesn't know any better.  He is a local that lives near the Wollard auction, and thought he could make a killing on servi-cycle parts.

As for the magneto parts, if you only need the points, condenser and coils, and not the backing plate, Wayne has those new.  If you buy that used one, there is a very good chance that none of those parts are any good.

Sonrisers, do you need just the brake backing plate or do you need the hub assembly also?

HELP.... The rear wheel I have must be off an older model, prob the 47 I owned with my brother. will the narrow wheel work on my bike with the automatic transmission?  Or do I need to get the 2" wheel. I have everything for the narrow wheel but the brake assembly and axle, so I will use it if it will work. Thanks

The wheels are interchangeable mechanically, but might look a little odd.

Sonrisers before making any quick calls check the hubs. Measure the width of each hub outside to outside and if the wide one is on the 1" wide rim just swap hubs and put the 2"wide rim in the rear. Problem solved.  8)

This is what I will be doing if I can not find a 2" rim at a decent price.

I have removed the spokes from both wheels so I can clean them up and get them powder coated. Will the hubs fit either wheel? I have all the spokes kept seperate for each wheel [with the exception of the one that I broke], but I will swap them when I go to put them back together....that is...IF I can get them back together. I'll send out a warning post a couple days before I start so you guys can make sure you stayed glued to your computers.LOL

How many spokes do you need?  I have plenty of old crusty spokes.

Sunrise urgent warning B-4 you start..... Take several good photos of the rims  b-4 you take them apart find a starting spot and note the pattern. That way you have it to go by it helps unless you have extra rims floating around. I also seen a 2'' wide rim on ebay last night starting at 10.00 dollars.   :)
