After Gary passed away, I was in contact with his ex-wife and she sent me a picture of a 1941 leaning against the wall in his basement.  When I got down there, I went over to it and put my hand underneath the gas tank and it was so rusty that my fingers went right through it.  She felt so bad -  she sold it to me at a good price.  I got to see three rooms of his collection.  I ended up driving down later and buying a 1955 from her also.

Is that the 1955 you rode to the ice cream parlor in Hartville?

No, that was  the first one I bought about 20 years ago. It was a basket case I found on ebay. A farmer had it in Oklahoma. I still have my other 55 in my shop in pieces parts.
