Title: Best Spark Plug
Post by: jpointer1990 on May 19, 2021, 08:59:14 PM
What is the best spark plug to use? I'm going to take the original Edisons that in my engine out of display purposes. I was wondering what the best/preferred spark plug is. I've seen Autolite 295 and NGK B4H thrown out as a couple. Also, what would be the preferred plug gap?

I've run both of the plugs you listed and Autolite AP425 . All seemed to perform about the same . Pretty sure I gapped them at .024" .

Currently , I'm running an iridium NGK 3419 BR6HIX . Factory gap = .031" and I don't recall changing that .
Even though it's a resistor-type plug , I'm seeing better overall perfomance than with the other plugs I've used .

Pete . :)
