I remember talking about that motor with you Rick. Pretty sure that is what you did.  Might as well get all those parts out of there! I just did a kart motor and left the arm and all alone and tied it over one way.  But if it is for looks remove it!

I have noticed some frames like that. I looked at all of my blocks including an L block.  None of them had a provision made onto the block to compensate for that recess.  You will definitely need to put a spacer there to prevent warping the base when the engine is tightened to the mount.

For the last few years, I have attended the club banquet.  Always rounds out the trip for me!  This year is the 50th anniversary of the club.  The banquet lasted for over 2 1/2 hours.  Then I headed for home at 3pm Saturday only after saying a few more goodbyes!

The woman on the right is Debbie Jackson. Club secretary (Last photo before license plates)

Last pic finishes another year for me as I added the 50th club license plate to my trailer.

Hope you enjoyed the pictures.  Definitely had fun taking them!!

Pics of the judging.

The bike was completely "hand" built by a prototype/ fixture machinist.  It was phenomenal!
