Hello, I just picked up a Simplex Automatic, can't wait to see what all info I'm able to get and see where this project takes? me.

Welcome! Where in Michigan do you live?  I live in Auburn Michigan about 25 minutes north of Saginaw.  Looks like your ride is a 1956 per your serial number and the motor number seems to be right in line too.  All of the characteristics fit.  Great start to restore from.  You should do well!

I have been collecting my missed parts over the winter. I picked up a full exhaust, carburetor, headlight, and some better rims at a nearby auction really cheap
