Post by: Cdr63corv on December 07, 2020, 02:50:47 PM: Yes, it was my brother in laws just got it from his wife, he passed a few years back. Have the original motor for it in a box of pieces. Has the carb and looks like everything is there. Guess he bought it as a basket case his wife said he was having trouble with the motor so he rigged this up.

I'm guessing each 'speed' is controlled via belt tension for each .
Seems complicated , but , if it works ... ;)
I'd imagine the bike would easily keep up with most traffic , sans the freeway .

Simplex brakes are good to about 30 mph! LOL
