Nearly tempting me.  Rick S., cant tell if it is a single plug cylinder or not.  Did you ever find one?

Tom, judging by the offset of the one plug I can see, I think it is a dual plug head.

 I would estimate that bike as a late 1949 model L though 1952.

If the tank and motor parts are decent, that is probably worth the asking price.  Front wheel and fenders may even be usable.
