Marker light

My 52' has a small marker light on the end of the front fender and was wondering if this was a stock item or not? I have not seen any other Simplex bikes with this marker light. It looks to be factory by the hole in the fender after I removed it. It has a chrome body with a clear lens on one end and a red lens on the opposite with a single bulb.

doubt if it was a factory item.  There were tons of stuff like that sold in the aftermarket & as accessories.  It would be interesting to know how well it showed up given The simplex's limited magneto capacity for lighting.

It has a single wire coming out of the bottom but I don't see how it could have been wired up. I will post a pic.
