I also have a can of "Simplex oil".  Looks virtually the same.  No idea which came first.

I'm amazed at how much people pay for those oil cans!  I wonder what Simplexes "special oil" mix really was?  It is probably just 30w oil.

I really don't have much traffic at my place for people to see stuff like oil cans, so I don't try to collect them (although they are neat).

yeah, I wonder if it is 70w like the tag says to use!  I know the Arabs would love me as I possess a few cans of that liquid gold myself!

I don't know when Simplex came out with their own oil, but various manuals I have suggest anywhere between a 70w to a 40W!  The earlier machines were heavier oil, and the later got lighter.  I wonder if their machining tolerances got better with time.
