I will look for you tomorrow.  Are you camping at the fairgrounds?

I pulled the rat bike out and rode it around for a while. I also spoke with Wayne for a short time before his wife gave him the evil eye, as they were waiting for him for dinner!

Going to bed early tonight, I am tired!

Well two hours in the journey we had to help with a motorbike accident and everytime I stop people start taking pictures. Stopping to see inlaws and we will be driving all night long.

By the way anybody need a lamp?

I think we have had about 10 members out here at Portland.  We got together all the simplex guys we could and had a big group photo.  Someone will be along in the next couple of days and post a photo.  We had 18 bikes lined up in front of Sonrisers kettle corn stand.  Sonrisers and his wife are some of the nicest people you will ever meet!  They gave out free kettle corn to all the members along with a bumper sticker!

Next year we will try to get 30 bikes together for the group photo! I would estimate there were about 50 simplex bikes at the meet.

Hi Guys, My wife Joyce and I were at Portland yesterday , had a great time meeting everyone, wish we would of brought the popup and stayed longer. We rode down from Romulus Michigan about 200 miles, on the Harley. Looking forward to next year , hope to bring my Simplex then. Bill Marcum 8)

Having a fun time, even if we are on a lowly honda this week.....just couldnt' get the Simplex finished & loaded with the back the way it was.  The good part is the back doesn't hurt when I'm riding.

Got some parts swapped with Wayne, but he didn't have the correct brake light switch (those of you with the brake light switch right behind the motor might want to order as Wayne only has a few of them & the factory doesn't want to make any more).

Missed out on a sweet deal that happened on Saturday.....somebody had 8 brand new chinese scooters (150cc 4 stroke motors) for sale for 450 each.....Bob Kerr got one of them.

It takes an "old timer" to even roll that thing, I rolled it to the other side of the popcorn tent, asnd realized I had to pull the compression lever to even get it to roll...really cool though.

Has anyone heard from Reese lately?  He hasn't been on here in a while.
