What Pete posted are the official dates, but as the long time veterans know, the meet really starts on Sunday, and is mostly over by Friday evening. If you show up Friday afternoon, you will have missed the show!

I have been a ghost in that town! A bunch of times. I will be arriving in Portland on Sunday and will stay for the banquet on Saturday. More than likely I will leave after that but one time I was about to leave and ended up staying the rest of the day. Besides it is kind of fun to Hotrod around the grounds when no one is there!

Only 2 weeks away! I haven’t decided if I’m going to travel light this year, with just 1 bike in the truck as gas is crazy now.

Just a little pre-cursor to Portland. That's Old School Frank on the left. Frank said the owners name is Gary. I asked him if he goes to Portland too, and he thought he would be there.
These pictures were taken yesterday at our local swap meet. My boss messaged me to tell me he bought a burgundy Simplex at the meet so I figured it must have been this one as I didn't see any others. He said that this was not the one. So maybe he has a surprise for me to see and one came later. He's never been a two wheel
guy so I guess i will see!

Well guys it doesn't look like I'll be going to Portland this year. With 2 knee replacements and starting physical therapy June 16 I just don't see how. Sure going to miss you guys and the meet. I sure need some more stuff LOL. But I still have a reservation for a 2 bed room at the Portland Inn if anyone needs it. Bob
