Title: Spring Washers?
Post by: Ricks on January 21, 2014, 05:58:50 PM
Anyone know what these spring washers are?  Are they something that is available?  I've searched the web, and I can't seem to find anything like it.  Maybe I should use a wave washer or a coil spring?  Looking for ideas.

Check out the photo, part # 3346 and 8018-2.

Rick ,

Those act the same way as modern spring or conical washers . The modern washers don't have the edge curled like the ones Simplex used . Below is an example of the modern version :

They are available from : http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-washers/=qctdws

Conical washers are also available from Fastenal or Graingers or likely many other suppliers .
