Thanks Tom. Bill does really nice work. I wonder who made that tail light?
-
Battery operated I think. Was thinking it was original.
-
I think it's original also. I was wondering who the manufacturer was.
-
I can't see any photos posted on the site right now.....but according to the D. Hilliker articles, the battery powered taillight was a "Delta Defender". They said that late model '37 models used a Schwinn Stimsonite reflector instead of a tail light.

Mike ,
Where can we find those articles by D. Hilliker ?
Pete . :)

I would have to do some digging as I thought I may have some info on this topic but it seems for the '37 that light is right. Delta defender sounds right. I think the headlight is a Griffin. Right?

Found this.

Nice find Tom! Now all I need to do is find a 1937 to restore. LOL

Pete, those articles are in the "Brochures" section & labeled "VMBC Spring 1989" (and so on). There are 4 articles total. David Hilliker & Homer Knapp did a lot of research back in the day.
