Rick,

I've only ridden the truck 3 or 4 times. For the most part I'll ride one of my other bikes. The truck is just so nice I don't seem to want to take it out and ride it. Who knows, I might eventually get tired of just looking at it and start ridding it, but for now it's in the house and used more as a furniture piece.

Having a 50 degree day here so I took the bikes out for a short spin on each of them.  I really should get the rat bike registered and put some new tires on it.  The tires that are on it may be original and are cracked and weathered. I would hate to have a tire come apart at speed!

It got up in the 70's today, so rode the big bike to work & then this evening Sonya & I rode the honda passport to town 6 miles away to buy lottery tickets!  The weather is supposed to fall off the cliff tonight so won't have any time to fire up the simplex.

First time in a month it was nice enough to go for a ride.  Both bikes started within 3 kicks, and ran great.  One thing about the cool air, these bikes seem to like it a lot!  I can't wait for Portland and riding with you guys again.  Reese, get those bikes running, only 3 months to go.

"One thing about the cool air, these bikes seem to like it a lot! "

That's because there is a higher amount of oxygen per cubic foot in cool/cold air than warm air . Things expand with heat and contract when cooled . So does air .

It's a big part of why we we feel 'refreshed' when it's cooler and more drawn out when a bit too warm .

And , Good you got to ride . ;)

I've been missing my 'in storage' Simplex . :(
