You need a hub that will accept the rotor. You may find an adapter that will bolt to the tall flange of the Simplex hub.

Either way it may fail. The caliper will be in a fixed position and the rotor will travel with the fork.

OR you can lace in a Worksman drum brake hub like I did.

Everything seems to be ok. I have only a few miles on it. As long as you use a quality bearing it should last.

Well I was able to get the exhaust finished. I fished a couple old exhaust parts out of the scrap bin at work. I cut and welded them to get the shape I wanted coming out of the engine. I then ran some of that stainless flex tubing for the rest of the way to the muffler. Then some pipe wrap to hide it all.

Next I must get rid of those damn feet.

The ching ching sound is most likely the primary drive housing. Mine does it as well.

I have not had it out since the first run. I will have some time to play around with it now that boating season is just about done.

I didn't wind it up all the way. I was no were close to 50 though.

Nice bike. Do you have any others? Here are a couple of my rats. The first is a fifties J.C Higgins and the second is a 37 Schwinn. Bikes are my #1 hobby.
