I recently picked up some Simplex parts, which included this selection of rockers. Anyone have any idea what the one odd man out came on and why?

Rick ,
They all look to have the same casting marks . From that , I'd guess that single just never got the 'shank cut' .
I don't know of any other makes that used similar rockers , but I've led a very sheltered life . ;)

Most of them have "Atlas" cast into them, along with a number. Some have P 39 on the other side, some don't. The older style with the limiters built in have "atlas" cast into the limit arm.
They were all used, or at least appeared to be, so I believe that the mutt was on a bike at one time. I will call Wayne and ask him if he has ever seen this before.

Someone in the know, who shall remain nameless, texted me that the closed loop was used on the 3 wheel truck. He did not know the reason why.

Maybe the closed version were used in conjunction with a tow bar ?
But , I'm not sure where/how a tow bar attached , so ???

I've seen Euro bike classics that had rocker studs used for box and basket leg supports. Rick C.

Atlas cast a lot of stuff back in those days. I used to see it on old connecting rods and all sorts of items. Limiters were of the earlier years weren't they? Not sure about the ones without the slot.
