Bought this bike not long ago and have to pick up still in NY. Here are some pics of mine and one restored. Think it has a Clinton 700 motor on it currently - no tag or shroud. Thinking about going with a modern motor with a lighting coil for lights that I plan on adding. A Honda GS with kick start would be nice and would be concealed by the body. Thinking black paint and white wall tires. Would like to reproduce the decal for both sides shown on the restored model. Any recommendations for sandblasting the tin as for what media to use to avoid warping?
Not a Simplex bought I thought worth sharing on the forum.

Not too far from Jamestown on the west side of the state.

Looks like a Clinton 700A engine.

DW, if you do plan on making that decal, could you let me know? i'd like to get a scaled down size sticker to put on the tank of my 48 safti cycle... i wish i could have found an early model like yours; but when it comes to safti cycles, beggars can't be choosers.

Hey Dave i would take the time and get it to SS Stripping in Steerling heights Mi 36870 Metro Ct. 586-268-5799 They are really fair on price but really good at what they do! he uses different media depending on what it needs to be done right...they do high end cars that end up at Barrett Jackson-just give him a call you can text him some pics and he will give you a ball park price...just FYI
