Resurrection- NEED HELP
« on: July 11, 2019, 02:07:31 PM »
I purchased a rolling chassis years ago and disassembled it in hopes of restoring it. My plans took an indefinite hiatus (divorce).... and now, I think I'm ready to give this thing a go. I planned on doing a resto-mod (even went as far as ordering the kickstart and harbor freight setup from Wayne Mahaffey), and I think that's still the direction I want to go in.

I pretty much have all the parts Wayne sent me sitting in a box in storage... and it's killing me.

I'm apprehensive about trying to assemble this, but I don't want it to sit either.... does anybody know of any simplex aficionado's in the Los Angeles area that can help me get that fire back in my gut to get my bike on the road?

I plan on running Worksman wheels and a harbor freight motor with the kick start, i just need to get it going.... looking for any ideas/pointers!!!

thank you!

I once fell in love with a gal in LA . She was inspiring . LOL
But , she's likely not there anymore .

Sometimes I need a kick to get me moving , too . I can easily talk myself out of doing ...
Best I've found was to simply pick something up and do what needs doing .
That^ from a certified procrastinator . ;)

Pete . :)
