The Wico magneto listing shows they were 3.5 hp single cylinder made from 1950-53.

I was recently informed about WayBackMachine, an internet archive which periodicaly takes snapshots of internet websites to preserve a record of them.  You can check out various snapshots of Gary Wollard's old Servi-Cycle Collectors website.  Here's how you do it:

The response time is a little slow, but there is Gary's website, out of the ether.  Most snapshots differ as Gary added to and built up the site.

Jim Kilau (Jim's Scooter Parts in St Paul 612-868-6685) has sold his building and is moving to smaller quarters.  He is selling some of his nice stuff, including his very nice original Quarter-Ton truck and his beautifully restored 1938 Servi.   He had the QTT at Portland, and both of them at Davenport.  He has reduced his asking prices.                                                   

Note that the Model G was made from April 1940 to December 1944.  With known serial numbers exceeding 5000, it's likely this bike is a late 1940.  There are brochures and manuals posted for this model.  Does it have a clutch?

I believe Maytag engines used the same coil.  Bob Blinn's dad used to rewind these, and other Maytag sources still have coils available.

Cushman changed to plastic in 1959 when they changed to 12 volt ignition and lighting, although they continued to use existing stocks until exhausted.  Cushman-made Allstate scooters continued using 6 volt magnetos and lighting.  In 1960 the glass lenses were no longer available from Cushman.  Most of the Simplex Automatics I've seen had the plastic lens.

I had a nice chat with Bob last weekend.  He said he was going to be at Portland on Tuesday thru Thursday.  He is living in Norwalk, Ohio in a condo just across the back yard from his daughter. 

The Model K Servi Gram posted under Manuals shows the Improvements made in the Model K.  No 3 is the Kwik-Clean air cleaner.
