So I know I haven't exactly been perched near a Simplex a lot lately but I do keep myself busy. (a little too busy!). I have one acre of property where I live now and needed a sizable cart to pull behind my mower. So I built this over the summer months. A robust looking personality don't ya think!? Will hold about 3/4 of a yard, 10ga. floor, has 4 bearing points on the axle and dumps via a neat little dump latch idea I robbed from a manufacturer I found on the web. And just in time for fall clean up!

Looks like it might be heavy enough for a few leaves , Tom .
What wheels and axle did you use ? They don't look familiar .
The tailgate is a lift out type ? Or ?
They musta had a sale on orange paint , huh ? ;)
Anyway , nice work . :)
Pete . :)

Robust project that can actually haul a load. Whimpy box store trailer owners take note! Rick C.

I think the wheels may have came off of something real similar to a David Bradley old walk behind tiller of some kind. Picked them up at a swap meet

That makes sense .
We use to have a walk behind motorized sickle bar ( about 3 foot wide ) that had big diameter wheels .
