Title: Spring VMBC Magazine
Post by: Mike Sal on March 21, 2013, 07:17:35 PM
Finally got around to looking at the latest magazine of the Vintage Motorbike Club.  A fella in Texas has a restored "57" Simplex for sale.  Asking $4250.

Also has a '66 Senior w/ Villars motor, also restored.  Asking $4500.  Both come with spare parts.

Hey Rick, what did you think of that Safety Cycle the guy built from scratch?  Kinda like your truck project.

I like it!  There was a guy that had a replica frame at Portland, but he was never around to speak with.  The guy next to him thought he was taking orders for a modern version.

I had an original Safti Cycle as a kid with a Briggs NP engine with a kick start.  As I recall, I sold it for $25.00.  The kid that I sold it to does not remember buying it.  Easy come, easy go! Mike
