Title: Made some parts
Post by: Ricks on May 27, 2018, 02:51:39 PM
While working on the truck, I needed an ignition tower.  I could just order one from Wayne, but what's the fun in that.  A piece of hex bar and tube and viola, ignition towers.

While I was at it, I decided to do something with all the old steel automatic pulleys I have been saving.  I have never found one that I thought was usable, as they were all a little rusty and the bearings were very gritty.   I ordered a few bearings and 1/8 steel rivets, machined the old rivet heads off and separated the sheaves.  I then blasted them and reassembled with the new bearings.

Being able to make things helps keep the ball rolling along too.  Good work.

Agreed , Tom .
Waiting for other people is the worst part of almost any project . ;)
