What am I missing?

Check out this manual on Ebay. This came from Gary's auction and is a reproduction.  Why would someone pay that? He was originally representing it as NOS, but I sent him a message and he removed that from the ad, but did add in  "Appears to be a copy made from an original but  Servi-Cycle, being a small venture, often made their own copies for distribution that are very basic and appear like photocopy by todays printing standards."

I feel sorry for the sucker that wins that!!

It seems pretty obvious that that is a recent copy  .  The graininess of whole thing is a dead giveaway .

Can the ad be changed after bidding has begun ? That would be like changing a contract , to better your end , after it was signed .

 According to Ebay, some info can be changed, including the description. I call BULLSHIT on this.  If that happened to me, I would go after the seller for fraud!

But yet his second manual that's looks to be more original is only drawing eight dollars. What's up with that. I also hope the miss informed bidder backs out and doesn't pay.  :P

I decided to report that item to EBay. I just think he is being totally dishonest.  Being that he replied to my message, I know he knows the truth about those manuals.  Now we will have to see if EBay does anything about it.
