 i will need to get a rear wheel pully(mine is a bolt on) and a front rim (no hub or spokes(as i have orignal ones))
you guys have any clue what that might cost to replace .?

yea it has a bolt and nut attached to the front of the tank then it is held up by a steel strap like bar underneath.
 i was told by RickS that due to the motor # its from a 1945-1947 so its possable a change was made. between 47-48

well while going thru my parts and i desided to remove some of the paint off the tank  and to my surprize i found the orignal tank decals that had been painted over.
they arent saveable but im glad at least i was able to see them.

alot of my parts are rust coated and i was wondering if useing Evapo-Rust to remove it . ive used it before. but im not sure if some of the parts could be damaged by soaking them in Evapo-Rust

intresting. yea well i guess that could explain why his engine did not run . tho i have found that i beleave most of the parts are there indvidually to build the orignal engine. but... i do know that i will need to replace the bearings
 and gasket.ect

well i was told that this was the engine that came with the frame when we got it .
outta curiouscy is there really any parts differance between the H and M model engines. as my father tryed to make the newer engine run and he was unable to get it to run even tho he had spark.

I FOUND IT !

 i found the other engine crankcase
its number # H15177E
i couldent find it because it was in pieces. and looked cleaner then the newer engine. but alot smaller looking .

just as a reference . some anyone know what wayne charges for parts. i definitely will b intrested in  front and rear rims. i have the hubs and spokes but the rim and belt rim is rusted out or missing.

not just yet. but i have a feeling the orignal case maybe too damaged to use as my father said when he obtained them it was overly rusted. but im still in the search. realted to the vintage year of this would possably be another place on the frame for the frame number ? becuse i cannot find one on the neck area of the frame.

hahaha actually my father was wrong . i found the tank and its a single right side cap. which i think is right for the frame year. correct ?

yea trust me i plan to esp considering my father told me there is a older engine back there as well as the missing tank and 2-3 boxes of parts.
he told me its a duel cap tank. and that the mixed age engine was a engine he got at a swap meet for $10 lol.

well im told the tank in in the crawlspace as well. i just have to really dig for it .
i really would like to do what i can to bring this back to what it originally without really going nuts and start cutting things up ...
i was kinds thinking that the side hook was some kinda rest mount for a side bag or something becuse i have seen them with side bags.
